Recipe for Amazing Egg Salad Sandwich

This is no ordinary egg salad, thanks to a secret ingredient that takes it to the next level. After watching a chef’s video, I decided to try the recipe, and it was a huge hit! Even my boyfriend tried to steal my sandwich because it was so good! Here’s how to make it:

 

Ingredients:

6 large eggs

2 tbsp mayonnaise (use full-fat for extra creaminess)

1 tbsp Dijon mustard

1 tbsp sour cream (the secret ingredient for tanginess)

2 tbsp chopped fresh dill (for a fresh kick)

1/4 cup finely chopped celery (for crunch)

1/4 cup finely chopped red onion (for flavor)

Salt and pepper to taste

Paprika (for garnish)

2 slices of whole grain or your preferred bread

Instructions:

Boil the Eggs:

Place eggs in a saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, turn off the heat and cover the pot. Let the eggs sit for 10-12 minutes. Then, drain and cool them under cold running water.

Prepare the Egg Salad Mixture:

Peel and chop the eggs into small chunks. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped eggs, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, sour cream, chopped celery, chopped onion, and dill. Stir everything together until well mixed.

Season the Salad:

Add salt and pepper to taste. Give the mixture a good stir to ensure it’s evenly seasoned.

Assemble the Sandwich:

Toast your bread slices until golden brown. Spread the egg salad generously onto one slice of bread, then top it with the other slice.

Garnish and Serve
