Hibiscus Tea Recipe

Ingredients:

 

2 cups water

 

2 tablespoons dried hibiscus petals (you can buy these in tea shops or health stores)

 

1–2 teaspoons honey or sugar (optional)

 

A slice of lime or lemon (optional)

 

 

Instructions:

 

1. Bring the water to a boil.

 

 

2. Add the dried hibiscus petals.

 

 

3. Turn off the heat and let it steep for 5–10 minutes (longer for a stronger flavor).

 

 

4. Strain the tea into a cup.

 

 

5. Sweeten with honey or sugar if desired.

 

 

6. Serve hot or chilled over ice for a refreshing drink.
