Ingredients:
1 cup carrier oil (coconut oil, olive oil, or jojoba oil work best)
2–3 tbsp whole cloves
1 tbsp fresh aloe vera gel (or a small aloe vera leaf piece, sliced)
Instructions:
1. Heat infusion (double boiler method):
Place the carrier oil in a heat-safe bowl or pan.
Add the cloves and aloe vera.
Heat gently over low flame (or in a double boiler) for 15–20 minutes. Do not let the oil smoke.
2. Cooling & steeping:
Remove from heat and let it cool.
Allow the cloves and aloe vera to steep in the oil for at least 24–48 hours in a sealed jar.
3. Strain & store:
Strain the oil using a fine sieve or cheesecloth to remove the solids.
Pour the infused oil into a clean, dry bottle with a tight lid.
4. Shelf life:
Store in a cool, dark place.
Use within 2–3 months for maximum freshness.
